Kinetic+ Training for Youth Girls is a movement-first athletic development program designed to help girls build strength, confidence, coordination, and body awareness in a safe, supportive environment. This program focuses on how young girls move, not just how hard they train—creating a foundation for athletic success, injury prevention, and lifelong confidence in movement.

Rather than early specialization or intense competition, Kinetic+ helps girls develop strong movement habits, emotional resilience, and self-belief during critical growth years.

Why Movement Matters for Young Girls

As girls grow, changes in height, limb length, coordination, and strength can temporarily disrupt movement patterns. Without proper guidance, this can lead to poor mechanics, decreased confidence, and increased injury risk—especially at the knees, hips, and ankles.

Kinetic+ addresses these challenges by teaching girls how to:

  • Use the ground efficiently and safely
  • Develop strength without stress on growing joints

The Kinetic+ Philosophy for Youth Girls

Kinetic+ is built on the belief that confidence comes from competence. When girls learn how to move well, they move with more freedom, less fear, and greater enjoyment. We teach girls how their bodies move and how to control that movement. Sessions focus on balance, posture, coordination, and alignment through fun, engaging, and age-appropriate drills.

Program Location & Schedule

All training sessions take place at Hypla Valley Community Center (7950 Audubon Ave, Alexandria, VA 2230) in the evenings from 4:00 PM – 5:15 PM (Tue -. On non-training days, athletes receive nutrition, exercise, and recovery assignments through our mobile app to maintain consistent progress.

Virtual Training

Train anywhere with Thrive Athletica’s Kinetic+ system using the Onform and TrueCoach apps. Perfect for athletes who want expert coaching, nutrition guidance, and recovery support from home.

  • Access to stretching, mobility, and mindfulness modules
  • Video feedback + movement analysis (Onform)

  • Weekly coach check-ins + progress tracking

Small Group Training

The most complete experience — full training plus competitive play on Thrive Athletica’s AAU team. Combines holistic athlete development with high-level competition and exposure.

  • 2–3 training sessions weekly
  • Full AAU team practices + 1–2 tournaments per month
  • Personal development workshops (STEM, financial literacy, leadership)

Individual Training

Each session is tailored to the athlete’s age, sport, and movement profile, focusing on efficient movement mechanics, strength development, speed, coordination, and injury resistance. Training integrates dynamic movement, controlled strength work, and intentional recovery to help athletes move better—not just train harder.

Team Training

Thrive Athletica’s Kinetic+ Team Training is designed to improve how teams move, perform, and stay healthy together. These sessions focus on building efficient movement patterns, strength, speed, coordination, and injury resilience—while reinforcing team chemistry.

Team Session Structure & Pricing
  • Minimum: 8 or more athletes per session
  • Rate: $10 per athlete per session
  • Session Length: 60 minutes

Teams may schedule:

  • Stand-alone team sessions (ideal for preseason or tune-ups), or
  • Ongoing training series aligned with the team’s practice and competition schedule (recommended for optimal development and injury prevention)
